Christmas table styling – breakfast for two and family dinner

You all know from last year how much we love a Christmas table styling. Well, we love a good table styling (period) it doesn’t have to be a festive one, but if we get to make decorations for it, we love it a bit more.

We also know how much you love inspirational posts, and we love them too!

Just a few weeks ago we saw this one from a sweet Croatian blogger Ines (from More less Ines) that, together with all the pictures from Pinterest we’ve pinned for years, inspired our breakfast table styling. If it wasn’t for her post we wouldn’t think of putting our decorations in glass domes for a breakfast table styling.

And remember last year when Nina did a beautiful and simple Christmas dinner mockup for us, and we loved it.

She combined the dark hues with the greenery and dark wood. This year she did almost the same thing, the only difference is she went all the way and created a winter wonderland on the table and it looks completely different from the last year’ one! How to bring the magic of Christmas into your home

We love Christmas as much as we love the home interior design. Okay, maybe we love Christmas a little bit more, but it would be weird to start a Christmas blog and post Christmas related posts all year long. Or would it?

Well anyhow,  we think about Christmas decorating the same way we think about our other projects. We like to choose timeless over trendy (which is a great way to avoid buying new ornaments every year), we like to work with natural materials and neutral colours, and we like to keep things simple.

Cold winter weather – at least here where we live. Foggy days and long nights. Blankets and socks. Sparkling lights. Peace. Laughter. Mulled wine.
