Welcome to an inspiring kitchen and dining space of our favourite gastro blogger

Every so often we feature a room or an apartment designed by architects and interior designers. As much as we love to study concepts behind those designs and details in them, we miss seeing how those spaces look after the owners have lived there for some time. How do they look like on an average day, with decorations, and smaller pieces of furniture added after the owners moved in.

So we decided to make a new category. Real-life interiors – where we’re going to feature interiors we admire that aren’t necessarily created by professionals, but that look just as amazing. Interiors where we can see how the owners live and why they chose that (life)style.

Interiors that might teach us about interior design as well as life at home in general.

“This is chaos!”

I’m not gonna lie to – I am domestically challenged and not particularly ashamed of that. But hearing “This is chaos!” from my three-year-old niece (!) was harsh.

Now, generally speaking, my apartment is pretty neat. It’s quite empty, truth be told, which is helpful. Also, I knew I wasn’t the best house-keeper ever, so I did everything I could during our home renovation to adapt the space to my poor skills.

New from Ikea – August News and Sammanhang collection

You’ll hate us for saying this, but… summer’s almost over. Yup, so sad… We know that because Ikea has two new collections in August.

Our summer was pretty busy this year and to tell you the truth we’re not big fans of a ‘you don’t have a proper summer vacation’ summers. But sometimes life’s just not fair.
And since we’re running out of ideas (and free friends) on how to spend our afternoons and evenings having a perfect summer in the city last week we decided to go to Ikea. Tina is still furnishing her new apartment, so why not? It’s not like we’ll buy something we don’t need. πŸ™‚

We’ve already scrolled through the new catalogues and it was time to go see all of it in person.
