If there is one thing you could bring into a room and upgrade it instantly, it’s the light.
To bring more sunlight in the room really can be an instant upgrade – if you paint your dark walls white or get rid of curtains. Did you know that just one black wall absorbs 70% of room’s natural light?
Just like anybody else, we love quick, easy fixes, and a floor lamp is perfect quick fix. It’s not just a pretty item, a decoration, it is a functional piece of furniture that can turn a weird corner into a reading nook or a hallway console table into a home office if you need one. It can mark out one area of the room and define its own purpose.
When we’re trying to choose the one product between them all, we have one simple rule: we want it to be honest. Every material is pretty as long as it doesn’t imitate another material. It’s ok if the product is inspired by something as long as it is not a copy of something. And if it looks like it’s from the 18th century, then it better be from the 18th century.
